UPDATE: Landslides Hit Last Chance, SR299

Posted By on Tue, Jan 12, 2021 at 10:53 AM

Caltrans reports one-way traffic control is underway at Last Chance Grade and motorists are warned to expect delays of at least 20 minutes.

U.S. Highway 101 at Last Chance Grade is shutdown and one-way traffic is in effect on State Route 299 west of Willow due to slides amid heavy rains.

Caltrans reports there are "no detours and no estimated time for reopening" at Last Chance Grade, the notorious stretch of roadway south of Crescent City, where CHP note the slide is active.
