Humboldt Music Promoter, Musician 'Seriously Hurt' in MMA Fight Saturday Night

A local musician and event promoter suffered a neck injury during the So You Wanna Fight amateur mixed martial arts event at Cher-Ae Heights Casino on Saturday, according to a report by John Ferrara at the Lumberjack. Steve Watts of Passion Presents was hospitalized in Redding following a body slam that immobilized him.
