Bridgeville Man Convicted of Federal Crime

Posted By on Tue, Sep 8, 2009 at 4:48 PM

Michael Dana McEnry Facebook photo Bridgeville resident and, according to his Facebook profile, HSU grad (class of '76) Michael Dana McEnry today was convicted of flying a plane without a pilot's license . Back in January, apparently, McEnry nearly crashed into another plane while he was (very poorly) landing a single-engine Cessna at the Eastern Sierra Regional Airport in Bishop.

Circumstantial evidence pointed to a raging oxycontin high. The best bit in the above-linked story from KERO 23 in Bakersfield:

Upon entering the terminal, the defendant said, "I just scared the s--- out of myself." He then asked, "Where am I?" When he was advised that he was in Bishop, he responded, "Where is that in relationship to the rest of the world?"
