The noon rallies have competitions—like the best commuter bike, the best fitting bike
helmet, the longest bike commute, and the workplace with the most people biking to the
rallies—with prizes donated by the Humboldt Bay Bicycle Commuters Association
(HBBCA) and local bike shops. Local bike shops will offer mini tune-ups at the
Energizer Stations and noon rallies. The Humboldt Transit Authority will show
commuters how to use a bus bike rack, the Eureka Police Department will offer free bike
licensing, and community groups will have information and activities about cycling and
trails.
