Tom Gage: American Prometheus
Orthtown Books welcomes Professor Tom Gage for a discussion of his recent book American Prometheus: Carnegie’s Captain Bill Jones on Friday, November 2 at 7 p.m.
Gage’s biography deals with Capt. William R. “Bill” Jones, a folkloric figure of America’s steel industry. Jones was also hero of both the Civil War and the Johnstown Flood — the greatest human-made catastrophe, second only to 9/11 in U.S. history.
