Scotia Ragtime Band
An evening of ragtime music, including examples of early Scott Joplin rags, Tin Pan Alley ragtime, piano roll rags, and even some roaring ’20s ragtime. Some of the arrangements have Humboldt history. After intermission, the band will play a live accompaniment to Buster Keaton’s silent film classic, One Week. The score for the Keaton movie was written by the band’s conductor, Michael McClimon.
