HELM Belly Dance Band

Concert and workshops with iconic group HELM. HELM helped form the soundscape for the San Francisco Bay Area Tribal Belly Dance scene since the 1990s. This amazing group has performed all over the world and will be stopping through Arcata for a CONCERT and WORKSHOPS on Saturday, September 5th. From original compositions that have become classics in the worlds of Tribal and Belly Dance to traditional music from throughout the Mediterranean, Helm has continually expanded their repertoire since the early 1990’s. Based in Marin County, CA, Helm has been touring internationally with recent performances in London, Rome, Lima, Istanbul, and the island of La Reunion.
