From the Forest to the River: A Hike for Kids Ages 3-6

Join Sanctuary Forest on Saturday, August 11th for From the Forest to the River: A Hike for Kids Ages 3-6. This is an opportunity for young children and their families to learn about native plants, aquatic animals, and the work being done to improve the river habitat. Activities will include: plant identification; capture, identification and release of macro aquatic invertebrates; and salmon artwork. This is an excellent opportunity to cultivate young stewards of the land and river! Bring a lunch and water, and dress for the forest and the river--don’t forget to bring a parent. RSVPs are suggested.
