Conifers of the Klamath Mountain Region

This is the monthly Humboldt Bay Mycological Society Talk for October. Michael Kauffmann's talk will emphasize identifying and finding the diverse conifer species of the Klamath Mountain Region along with some of the more common pest and fungal pathogens with which they associate. Forest Pathology is a major interest of his while mapping and inventorying the rare conifers of the region. We look forward to enhancing our mycology skills by learning more about conifers from local educator, author, and ecologist Michael Kauffmann.
