Arcata’s newest favorite summer tradition arrives with a splash of seaside magic when the Arcata Fairy Festival returns to the Arcata Plaza on Sunday, June 28, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (free entry) This year’s theme, Tidal Dreams, summons mermaids, sirens, sea dragons and pirates to dry land for a day of costumes, live music, dancing, aerial arts and fun. Browse artisan vendors, enjoy food and drinks, explore the Gnome Dome or join a scavenger hunt. All ages welcome, whether you arrive on two legs or a tail.
