A vehicle went over the embankment just north of the Legend of Bigfoot about seven miles north of the Mendocino/Humboldt County line, about 6:21 p.m., according to a report over the scanner and on the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page.
The CHP page said that it is a Ford Explorer about 75 feet down a steep embankment.
The dispatcher sent Garberville Ambulance, Garberville Fire, Cal Fire, and Southern Humboldt Technical Rescue to the incident.
