UPDATE:
Caltrans has released a video showing the slide coming down on Highway 96, which the agency reported Wednesday was open to one-way controlled traffic.

Caltrans is reporting that Highway 96 is closed about 4 miles west of Happy Camp due to an active landslide, which a picture shows has strewn dirt and rocks across the roadway.
There is no estimated time for reopening and there is not a detour, according to the
