L.A. Times: AMA Says Weed AOK: Well, kinda. The American Medical Association yesterday urged the feds to stop pretending cannabis is in the same league as heroin and LSD, and worse than cocaine, morphine and meth — in other words, take it off the list of Schedule 1 drugs so researchers can study it without being tossed in jail.
