A group of anonymous protesters in Guy Fawkes masks just politely rang the doorbell at NCJ HQ and handed us a flier that enumerates the ways our government is trampling on our constitutional rights, and damned if it wasn’t the highlight of our day.
“We’re not trying to be intimidating with the masks,” explained Zeppelin-shirt Fawkes. “The point behind the Anonymous masks is we’re not standing for ourselves; we stand for America, for everyone.”
The protesters helped us remember (remember?) that it’s the 5th of November, day of the Million Mask March!
Some things we learned from the flier:
- Our president “has forced obamacare [sic] into act, and not listened to any of Americas’ [sic] outcries on our disapproval.
- “The Government has continuously attempted to take away the rights of americans [sic] to own firearms, to protect their families and homes, as well as provide food with their firearms.”
- President Obama is requesting a third term in office and the flier writer(s) would like to know how he’s justifying that request.
We’re convinced. Tell Obama to heed outcries on our disapproval, allow us to provide food with our firearms and justify his (heretofore under-reported) request for a third term.
Now where can we get our masks?

I’m not a fan of those who would “speak for America”… speak for me. Geez…the Tea Party purports to do the same and, frankly, I’ll speak for myself, thank you.
Ordered a few Fawkes masks at a surprisingly cheap (2 for $5) rate from Amazon recently.
I thought it was odd that I was given no shipping options and told
they would arrive in 17-23 days.

We make our stand as best we can, our system is corrupt and broken, we must take it back.
HR Res 15 has nothing to do with Obama, as the Senator who introduced it put up the same resolution during both of G. W. Bush’s terms. This senator has been introducing this same bill for almost 20 years, long before Obama had run for any political office.
Time to stop with the Obama panic, kids. And if you’re really not embarrassed to hold these ridiculous and ill-informed views, you shouldn’t feel the need to wear masks.
I would have preferred extending Medicare to everyone, which is similar to the rest of the industrialized world….nevertheless, “obamacare” will save me 2 thousand dollars each year!
You are saving thousand of dollars a year at the expense if younger healthy people. Why should we have to pay for your health problems? You were not forced in to Heath care as a healthy young adult but now that you need regualar health care you want us to pay for it? That seems a really messed up. Who cares of you don’t believe what these guys are sending out….nobody seen you out there saying anything. Just sitting behind your key board and hating!

I suppose there’s little point in offering you a moral or ethical argument, so I’ll just cut to the chase. In this country, when people get really, really sick, they receive medical care whether they have health insurance or not. (It’s something to do with civilization.) That means that you are already paying for older people’s health problems.
The difference that “Obamacare” can make is that the system will now attempt to treat older people’s health problems earlier, when they are more affordable to deal with.
Obamacare actually has NOTHING to do with health care, it is simply a way of protecting citizens against the worst abuses of the insurance industry. The reason it is imperfect is that the existing insurance industry has a great deal of money at stake. If it did not, you can be sure that something like national health insurance would exist in the US, just like it does in much of the world.
You might wonder why much of the world has national health insurance. It might be rewarding to investigate why this is so. Are there reasons people believe the “free market” and “health care” are incompatible? What might they be? Have you ever asked?
You talk about “haters.” Does that mean someone who disagrees with you?

You are so I’ll informed, because of obamacare grandparent are being forced to go back to work, take a sec and step down from ur high horse and realize that yes Obamacare may have some perk over all it is effecting most american negitivly. Army wife aren’t qualify for health care after the love one’s die to defend the country we live in, and for r liberty and freedom. Wife who r covered my there husband insurance and who have been for years aren’t anymore. Its a fail system and not well thought out. Maybe you should try to read the bill that is close to 2000 pages.

Its call the million mask march for a reason. Yes we only had about a total of 16 people marching in this county but Washington seen over 7000. Oregon seen close to 4000, N.Y was about 10,000, London was 10,000. Devnver went crazy, that just to name a few. You see smart people might see this as the beginning of an uprising. This was recorded as the largest peaceful march in the history of mankind. So ya there was 6 in are group and 10 or so in the other, but there r many many else who believe what we believe. This is just the beginning. Watch for us cause we do not forget and we do not forgive, we r legion.
