UPDATE:
The County of Humboldt just announced road closures will be in effect at the following intersections: Alderpoint Road at State Route 36; Alderpoint Road at Dyerville Loop Road, Fort Seward Road at Dyerville Loop Road; and Alderpoint Road at Redwood Drive.
PREVIOUSLY:
An immediate evacuation order has been issued for areas south of Highway 36 in Bridgeville, and all communities along Alderpoint Road down to the Mendocino/ Trinity County Line due to the Hopkins Fire’s rapid movements.
An evacuation point has been set up at the Ferndale Fairgrounds.
