Here’s a photo from Arcata that’s making the e-mail rounds.
I’d credit the photographer, only I’m not sure he wants to be credited.

Funny but inappropriate.
What’s the legality of posting a yard sign that says “Grow House” with a big arrow pointing at your neighbor?
[…] UPDATE: North Coast Journal posts a photo depicting increasing anger at Marijuana Grow houses. […]
You know the sad thing, there, Hank, is that the illegal grower’ll get off scott-free while the “graffiti artist” will end up prosecuted…
Is that proven to be an illegal grow ?
Not by me.
Anyway, I think you’d have to arrive at some particular definition of “illegal.”
“Anyway, I think you’d have to arrive at some particular definition of ‘illegal.'”
Good luck.
I thought it was a request or a command.
Oddly enough, if they stick to doing this to homes, it will take longer to rack up to a large crime, as the cost to repaint a house siding is less than a auto. That is where taggers fuck up, you name a car, the cost of repairs (repaint) is enough to make it a larger crime.
Then what are we supposed to do about the grow cars?
Funny, Hank. I can’t figure out what goes on inside r.mouse’s brain either.
this is how to deal with unattended grow houses:
go to Ace Hardware buy padlock and rubber gloves with cash, wearing glasses and hat.
go to house when no one is around. put on gloves. open electicity service panel. turn off main power. close panel and place padlock on door sealing shut. throw key in the bay or recycle. repeat until all plants die, growers can’t make rent and are evicted/forclosed.
I am sure this is illegal, but, you gotta defend yourself….

Remove the valve core from the tire. You know, the thing that you always mess up on when filling your tires and goes “PSSSSSSSSSSsssssst”
After removing air, put it back in.

Link to better lock here
Problem with that is that they will just cut the ears off the lock-out, it’s softer. There is also shutting off the water main and filling the service point with quik-set, or even removing the meter itself and pulling the buss bars.
As for what goes on in my brain, well, haven’t you figure it out yet?
“There is also shutting off the water main and filling the service point with quik-set, or even removing the meter itself and pulling the buss bars. “
wait a sec here anon.r.mousy. are you saying that you would damage a house in order to prevent damage from occuring? that makes a whole lot of sense. the upside is that you will be able to brag to your friends that you destroyed the house first.
theo, please see my earlier comment about r.mouse’s brain.

Never said that I would do it. Information is just that, information. Just because one knows how to do things, does not mean that they will do things.
Plus shutting down a home’s water supply is less damaging then allowing a home to become water damaged. You should know that Theo.
And do you retards think that if I was going to do something, that I would post it on the internet for all you dumbasses to read? You really are the dimmest bulbs on the Christmas Tree aren’t you?

crap…the DEA is coming!!!
Listen to yourselves. You’re talking about vandalizing the property of others to prevent the cultivation of a plant. So graffiti is considered “direct action”? Since when? Only when it’s directed towards Mary Jane?
You people need to mind your own business and stop treating marijuana like the “devil’s weed.” Let the landlords deal with their houses and stop worrying about what your neighbors are doing. If the house is empty, consider yourself lucky, you could have a bunch of alcoholic partiers living there, making your life truly miserable. It’s Humboldt, get over it!
I cannot belive the types of comments on this page. You people have no respect for peoples privacy stop trying to take the law into your own hand. you people should leave humboldt.
