This is the second time Mr Rather came to Humboldt for a pot story. Back in the early eighties he “embedded ” himself with local task force and raided local pottery makers property in Whitethorn. Rather was extremely dissapointed there was no grow there and flew off vowing never to come back, or so the story’s told.

Sometime in the early eighties, he “embedded” himself with the local drug taskforce and joined on a raid to a pottery makers’ place in Whitethorn. He became angry when dissapointedly they found no grow on the property. The owners were gracious hosts to their guests despite their rude entrance onto the pottery facility. Mr. Rather left the area disappointed vowing never to return. Or so the story told.
