Yes, that is a rather nice blog.
Colorful, historical, informational and no mention of Reggae, PALCO, Arkley, surfing, Saturday night or burger stands.
Give it a couple of weeks, they’ll be right there with the rest of us.
It would be interesting if we were treated to a short story about each guest who stays there.
It looks like they’re simply using a blog to make a regular website. The free version of WordPress may be a little better suited because you can strip out a lot of telltale blog signs and not sort pages by date.
From the vantage point of my cluttered home and chaotic brain, that lovely guest room is the sexiest thing I’ve seen in months. Oh, take me!
Yeah. I think AJ’s right. They’re just using the blog as a regular web page, probably because they didn’t know how to create a regular web page. That, and they don’t have to pay for server space.
I was thinking at first that the place is pretty expensive. I guess it is compared to the cost of some of the other lodging in Eureka, but it looks like it costs the same as staying in a motel down south. Not bad.
Now I’m trying to figure out where I’ve seen that place. I know I’ve seen it before.
If they hadn’t divulged too many personal details on the page, they probably would have (should have) included the street address. A visitor staying for a few days or a week will want to look up the location on a street map prior to agreeing to stay.
