With heavy hearts we need to inform everyone of the sudden passing of our dear son, Tad Sarvinski, on June 2, 2026.
Tad was born in Walnut Creek, California on September 15, 1978, and moved back to Humboldt County, settling in Hydesville. Growing up, Tad enjoyed the outdoors, hiking on the family property, swimming in Yager Creek, building tree forts, selling corn in a little roadside stand, and raising 4-H and FFA animals. He also worked on the ranch tending vegetable gardens and livestock.
He attended Hydesville Elementary and Fortuna High where he played multiple sports, football being his favorite. He was an avid 49ers, Giants and Warriors fan. He attended a 49ers playoff game at the age of three and was hooked for life.
He attended Chico State and finished college at the University of Phoenix with a BA Degree in Business Administration. During college he worked for a paint manufacturing plant in Chico and became one of their salesmen upon graduation. He returned to Humboldt County and worked as an advertisement salesman for radio and newspaper and an assistant editor for Sensi Magazine. He then went back to the land and raised a produce garden and enjoyed selling at the local Farmers Markets.
He is survived by his parents, Julie and Buzz Sarvinski; his brother, Bo Sarvinski; aunts and uncles godfather Gary and Linda Sarvinski, Greg and Tammie Sarvinski, Gene and Ginger Sarvinski, Lisa and Vince Gamboa, Bill and Caligney Baldwin, Cousin Lars and many more special cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ty Sarvinski; grandparents Spike and Millie Sarvinski and Helen and Hal Baldwin; uncles Galen Sarvinski and Hal Baldwin II; aunt Lottie Luke; godmother Linda Doebel; and cousin Disney Gamboa.
He also leaves his furry companions, Boogie, Maggie, Dusty and Buddy Black.
A service will be held on Saturday, June 20, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fortuna, 810 14th Street, at 10:00 a.m. A reception will follow at Bear River Casino Ballroom.
Tad will be forever in our hearts — until we meet again.
My heart aches, finding out that Tad had passed away. I will always picture him at ages three and four, when he attended my pre-school Rainbow Farm. He was an adorable child, gentle and kind – but with a twinkle of mischief in those blue eyes! I send my love to your dear Family.
