Janet Stock was a lover of nature and healer of women. In 1997, she helped establish the massage practice at the Women’s Health Resource Center at a major San Francisco hospital, an innovative program for its time. In Arcata she worked with Humboldt Mobile Massage, caring for seniors and cancer patients referred through the Breast Health and Gynecological Project.
Janet’s great passion for nature led to annual backpacking and bird watching adventures. A memorial potluck is scheduled for April 25, 2027, at Trinidad Town Hall at 11 AM. Please donate in Janet’s name to Redwood Region Audubon Society, rras.org or North Coast California Native Plant Society, northcoastcnps.org.
