Sympathy for those 12 and under, as well as those who have been advised by a medical professional that they aren’t a good candidate. Making me all the more unsympathetic toward those who aren’t getting vaccinated because they think a virus (or climate change or evolution or gravity or the biological underpinnings of sexual orientation or the fact that gender and race are social constructs that provide a basis for systemic oppression) has something to do with political affiliation. It’s one thing to disagree about the causes or proper response to a given fact. It’s another thing to deny reality and invent “alternative facts.”
