I have long been concerned by the nuclear waste stored south of Eureka (“Radioactive,” Sept. 5). From what I understand, there is a huge prevalence of leukemia in children in the area of the decommissioned reactor. I would like to hear about this from public health. I have no idea what can be done about this.
