Police taking names and numbers?….in a public park?….just for being there?
Is that legal?
Wonder what would happen if someone refused to give them personal information?
Where’s that ‘probable cause’ we keep hearing so much about?

From what I read about this years ‘celebration’, there wasn’t much to shout about other than the punitive conditions the city and the thug cops put on the approval permit.
Good for you, Mr. Mayor and Council of Arcata. You successfully pounded one more nail in the citizens ability to assemble freely.
Sure feel safer knowing the thug Arcata cops have saved us all from the drooling masses of stoners that tried to invade an open to the public park.
I’ll tell you the above statement is sarcastic as y’all seem to have lost any sense of humor or common sense….as if any of you ever had it to begin with.
