Birds
rain
trees
sea
winter lets go
finger by finger
(with no loquacious good-bye)
the dark season
floats out
here on this coast
as the light blue
pale yellow
yellow green
tender breeze
tenderly arrives
lavender gray
the geese-
whales return
blowing tender bubbles
into our dreaming
shoots push through dirt
all small children
think of lambs, calves, foals-
wobbly
hanging onto Mother
