Walking from my car To Walgreens Pharmacy I look down at the floor Or to distant ceilings

Avoiding the clutter Once familiar aisles Will bestow upon What I now see,

As I move through Unfamiliar terrain Avoiding triggers Undoing me with

Fear of another fall Spinning and hurling Trying to catch what Is left of my breath,

Waking in the.ER Medicated again Learning to sit Then stand, slowly

Before regaining What is left of My sensibilities On planet Earth.

  1. I know of this and how daunting it can be. What used to be simple is no longer so. I pray for your restoration Brother Kirk.

  2. Thanks David, and I am making plodding progress! Went shopping for the first time in 15 months today, and hope to be more social soon. Really miss our talks…
