Last weekend the Humboldt County Fairgrounds hosted the final days of this year’s ice skating. Young and old turned out to figure eight, glide and cling to the walls in the temporary rink set up in Belotti Hall while lights twinkled overhead and music played. A power outage put a damper on the festivities for a spell but soon everyone was back on the ice.
