Well, it looks like Rob Gunsalus made a choice, and a good one at that. It seems he’s convinced Patrick Cleary, a founding member of the
Humboldt State University Advancement Foundation
, to handle station management for
KHSU
on an interim basis. Expect an official press conference announcement Monday.
The fact that Cleary is also CEO of Lost Coast Communications — the radio group that includes
KHUM
, K-Slug and The Point — will complicate matters somewhat. We’ll ask him how he’ll deal with it when we see him play his
guitar
mandolin and bass at the
Buddy Brown Blues Festival
today
in Blue Lake
.
This article appears in In The Green Room.

Wonder if there will be some conflict of interest protection clause – KHSU is Lost Coast’s biggest competition.
If it weren’t for that …
Another GM with an attorney spouse.
Whoops, sorry I ruined your station Rob. Gotta go now. I have a lot of new advertisers to court and a bunch of listener data to consider.
hahahha…sweet pic of cleary. mmmm..he was on the board of advancement…with neo-con gunsalus. handing out the goodies from the store… wow.
And is he going to bring back Charles Horn as his interim Development Director?
