  1. Well Bass could lock it up tonight, but she’d have to do a lot better in those remaining precincts than she’s done in the election-day voting that’s been tallied so far.

    So far , Bass’s lead has continued to slip as the election-day numbers come in and her vote-by-mail advantage has been eaten away at. Still, as I commented on the last thread, I think Neeley is going to have to fight hard and win over a lot of Leonard voters if she’s going to make it in November. An interesting question is whether Leonard will endorse Bass, which could really spell trouble for Neeley.

    And hey, STILL no precinct votes from the 5th? What’s up with that? Is the 5th usually so slow to come in?

  2. By the way, at 7:30 p.m., Manila’s polls positively bustled with action! I’ve never seen so many people there at once.
