Humboldt County Public Health notified the Southern Humboldt Unified School District that students enrolled in the district tested positive for COVID-19.
According to the release, all the students and families involved have been identified and they had no direct contact with anyone at the school as schools are distance learning.
We encourage students, staff, and parents to join the school district in following all Department of Public Health guidelines to help everyone stay safe and healthy.

Public health has notified the Southern Humboldt Unified School District that students enrolled in the district tested positive for COVID-19. All the students and families involved have been identified and contacted by Public Health and are currently in quarantine. Since we are practicing the full distance learning model, there was no direct contact between infected individuals and any other students at school. We encourage students, staff, and parents to join the school district in following all Department of Public Health guidelines to help everyone stay safe and healthy.
