The Times-Standard is reporting that Lark Doolan, the principal and superintendent of the Peninsula Union School District in Samoa, was spotlighted in an article in People magazine.

According to the T-S report, Doolan talks to People magazine about his path to living his best life as a trans man after struggling with intense bullying in his youth. He is the first and only openly transgender school superintendent in the nation.
