Humboldt County Public Health reported today that the county has confirmed another COVID-19 death since its last report March 16.

The county also reported today that seven previously reported hospitalizations and three previously reported deaths have been removed from the county’s cumulative tally “after they were determined to be from another jurisdiction or not COVID-related.” The county’s dashboard now lists 139 residents as having died from COVID-19 since the pandemic’s start.

According to a state database, eight people are currently hospitalized with the virus locally, including two under intensive care.
