*Note: This time around, we made the conscious decision to switch to the more accurate and descriptive “Bay District” when referring, in shorthand, to the Humboldt Bay Harbor, Recreation and Conservation District. But old habits die hard, and last night I unconsciously switched back to “Harbor District.” Rest assured, they are one and the same.

I think you mean, “following in the footsteps of the Arcata Eye, we made the conscious decision to switch to the more accurate and descriptive ‘Bay District’ when referring, in shorthand, to the Humboldt Bay Harbor, Recreation and Conservation District.”
Thank you.
Bwargggh!
I think it was Aldaron Laird’s suggestion, actually. But you were the early adopters! Mad props!
140 more votes in So. Hum. and the Commission would calling itself the “Bay District”.
Very true. Though maybe it will anyway. I’m betting the election will have a more profound effect than immediately meets the eye.
Absolutely Hank. This is a big turning point for the District and the NCRA.
The District loses it’s champion for port development for one.
Mike: You better have a really good excuse for being out of town on election day.
At least the motion may have a second.
Harbor District works fine for me. I’m not switching.
I’m calling it the Waterslide District until they adopt my personal agenda.
Nah, that’s exactly the opposite. See, “Bay District” is more inclusive than “Harbor District.”
Neither one gets me any closer to my waterslide.
