  1. What happens in Fernbridge, apparently doesn’t stay in Fernbridge…. OR, "we got creamed by the milkman".

  2. Sure. But not over someone else’s misery, which this is. This is one of our county’s success stories, now tarnished. I’m sure the business will survive, but it sure changes the equation. Again, IF true.

  3. Rose, you sure have fun attempting to deliver Paul misery. He is one of our county’s success stories, who you constantly tarnish. I’m sure he will survive, but you sure try to change the equation.

  4. Evaporated Milk, until we learn more about the details. I’m hopeful that the cream was not skimmed from the top.

  5. I find all of this an incredibly banal and sophomoric treatment of a very serious subject that can literally impact the lives of hundreds if not thousands of local residents. Jobs are at a premium, in case you haven’t noticed, and these jobs are crucial to our local economy. So joke if you must, but this will hit closer to home than many people realize. We’ll see who’s laughing then.

  6. Look, no one means to downplay the gravity of the situation. It’s bad. A little bit of black humor is a tonic for the soul, though.

  7. jason – Paul Gallegos is no success story – not by any stretch of anyone’s imagination, except yours, I guess.

If that isn’t clear to you, you’re not paying attention.

Hank – (if this posts twice, feel free to delete one, I get a server error message when I click post.)

  8. Rose: That seems to happen occasionally — once every 10,000 pageviews, if I’m not mistaken.

A fix is in the works, one which should speed up page loading as well.
