McKinleyvillians grabbed their lawn chairs, blankets and tailgates Saturday and headed down to Central Avenue to catch the annual Pony Express Days Parade. Surprisingly short on ponies (only one by this reporter’s count), the parade made up for it with a plethora of horses, floats, fire trucks, dancing children and grown men driving very small cars. Good times — and free popsicles! — seemed to be had by most.
