The Humboldt Tea Party Patriots, perhaps inspired by the wide-ranging scope of ideas recently exhibited by member/Fortuna Councilman Dean Glaser , are expanding their horizons: taking on the nefarious myth of global warming.
This Sunday evening at the Veterans Hall in Fortuna, the HTPP will screen
Not Evil Just Wrong
, a documentary by Irish filmmakers Phelim McAleer and Ann McElhinney. According to an HTPP
press release
, the film “proves [!] that the only threats to America and the rest of the world are the flawed science and sky-is-falling rhetoric of Al Gore and his allies in environmental extremism.”
A few of the breathtaking revelations contained in the press release alone:
If Al Gore had his way, “we would be unable to powers [sic] the hospital [sic], schools, factories and cities that maintain our way of life.”
The deceptions being “force-fed” to the public by “experts, politicians, educators and the media” are jeopardizing Americans’ “jobs, modest lifestyles and dreams for their children.”
And perhaps most shocking of all:
“The only polar bears that are dying are the ones who try to eat men.”
Amazing stuff. One can only speculate what truths will be revealed in the film itself. Or, better yet, go see the movie. And while you’re at it, take some HTPP advice and
educate yourself
.
Glaser on KSLG:
This article appears in The Klamath Settlement.

"The movie is shown by the grassroots, non-partisan Humboldt Tea Party Patriots…"
Grassroots? Non-partisan? Patriots?
If these people had directed their movement against the international bankers instead of having disgusting mock up pictures of our president, they might have been taken more seriously.
I feel their outrage, but I’m afraid they are misdirecting their anger.
Some of them were protesting about government getting involved with health care and didn’t want uncle Sam tinkering with their Medicare.
We should have put a stop to this giving away of our economy to the banks, Federal Reserve and Wall St. a long time ago.
A majority Republican Congress during the second Clinton administration voted to repeal the Glass-Stegall act that had regulated the banks since the last great Republican depression.
A veto by Clinton wouldn’t have stopped it.

They probably don’t know this and it probably wouldn’t change their minds.
I think they just hate Obama.
