The August Complex continues to move north and firefighters will likely have to close State Route 36 tomorrow.
The California Highway Patrol issued the following statement Thursday afternoon:
The CHP is anticipating a closure of State Route 36 from State Route 3 to South Fork Mountain Summit in Trinity County for fire fighting operations related to the August Complex Fires. The closure will begin at 8:00 AM on 09/25/2020 and is expected to last through the weekend.
