This just in from the folks at Blue Lake Casino re: the previously “sold out” evening with Michael Franti & Spearhead next Friday, Oct. 7:
1,000 more tickets are being released today through the Players Club.
They also advise:
Parking will be tough with over 2,000 tickets already sold. We encourage carpooling & bike riding to the show. Bring your own camping chairs and picnic stuff. The North Coast Resource Center will be there to help us recycle and handle our garbage.

Don’t worry Franti will perform his sold out commercial music for all of that can afford to pay! Usually only washed up muscians do the Casino circuit but hey why not he already sold the rights to his “revolutionary” music to video games and car commercials! Let’s pack in another 2,000 yuppies and fire up those cancer sticks! Everyone deserves capitolism!!!
Hell yea capitalism works!! I find it interesting and way cool that Franti was able to squeeze in a quick casino performance on his way to Washington. That really doesn’t mean he’s on the “casino circuit”…he’s far from washed up. Where else would he be able to perform here in Humboldt? yay Blue Lake!
