The Times-Standard is reporting that the Fortuna Union High School District Board of Trustees will have an emergency meeting after an eight-hour negotiation session with the Fortuna Union High School Teachers Association about reopening the schools safely during the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the report, the board voted 3-2 on July 28 to begin in-class instruction on Monday at its three schools, Fortuna High, East High and Academy of the Redwoods.
