A PACIFIC STORM WILL PRODUCE SIGNIFICANT RAIN ACROSS NORTHWEST CALIFORNIA SATURDAY NIGHT. RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL GENERALLY RANGE BETWEEN 2 AND 4 INCHES. HOWEVER…TERRAIN FAVORED AREAS LIKE THE KING AND SOUTH FORK MOUNTAIN RANGES WILL LIKELY HAVE 5 TO 7 INCHES OF RAIN. THE RAIN WILL BE HEAVY AT TIMES…AND MAY CAUSE PONDING…ROCK SLIDES…AND REDUCE VISIBILITIES. GUSTY WINDS WILL ACCOMPANY THIS STORM…AND FALLING LEAVES AND DEBRIS MAY CLOG CULVERTS AND DRAINS…RESULTING IN LOCAL STREET FLOODING.

  1. We’ll just see about that. I for one am sick and tired of the weatherman crying wolf year after year. After year.

  2. Damn straight. Who do those meteorologists think they are? Wolf biologists? That don’t make no sense!

  3. Glad I got my fall bulbs in yesterday. Had a feeling that time was running out. Guess we can turn off the watering system and not have to worry about topping off the pond for awhile.

  4. I felt the change in the weather last weekend…got cloudy and chill in air. Well, always good to have extra supplies on hand, not just for storms…but we live in a major earthquake zone. Is always good to be prepared..SO THANKFUL FOR THE SHELTER COVE RESORT IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT….WE HAVE BACK UP GENERATORS….SO THANKFUL FOR THEM, TOO!

  5. Man , just a while back we were behind in precipitation readings now we’re something like 250% over for rainfall . It doesn’t take much .
