Norman Pasteris died on March 24, 2025, at Summerville Healthcare center in Santa Rosa, California, at the age of 77. Norm was born in July of 1947 in Wareham, Massachusetts. Shortly after his birth, Norm moved to the West Coast, and started calling Eureka home in the 1970s.
Norm started a career in mechanical work, working for Canterbury and Mac Trucking before shifting to the United States Postal Service in the janitorial and maintenance department.
Norm was a quiet stoic man that had a zest for life. In his retired years he reignited his love of motorcycle riding. He and his motorcycle group had monthly and quarterly rides, often seeking out bucket list destinations. When not riding his motorcycle, he was tinkering in some type of project. Restoring older cars came naturally with his mechanical background. He helped to design the fresh water pump system for the Elk River valley, and was always just a call away for anyone in need.
Norm is survived by his wife Chris Pasteris, his daughters Michaele Pearson and Vicky Pasteris, his grandson Michel Normington, and two great grandchildren.
