Through my work with a local chamber’s leadership program, I’ve seen the vital need to bridge the gap between policy and the practical needs of our economy. This is why I enthusiastically support Mary Burke for Fifth District supervisor.
Mary understands long-term planning and economic sustainability. Her extensive background — from the McKinleyville Community Services District to complex environmental restoration projects — proves she can handle the hard work of governance. She understands the “restoration economy” and knows how to turn community needs into smart public policy.
Mary is a gold-standard leader who engages stakeholders to find solutions that benefit everyone. We need a supervisor who can hit the ground running with a deep understanding of our infrastructure, land use and local culture.
