May I suggest a statue for the Plaza that is far removed from President McKinley (“A Monumental Decision,” Dec. 7). Consider Mary, the Jewish mother to Jesus of Nazareth. She stands as a tribute to women’s empowerment and a statement against anti-Semitism.
