  1. So true!
BTW you published a cartoon a few weeks ago about people shopping at Winco en dishabille. Hate to tell you, but it’s spreading. I drove past the ATM on F Street in Henderson Center and a guy was in line wearing a dress shirt and jacket and pajama bottoms.

  2. Thanks for augmenting my vocabulary, Julie. Men in pajamas might look classier if they were smoking a pipe and carrying a newspaper.

  3. Funny…I live in Fortuna and didn’t notice anyone yee hawing and shooting off guns… Actually NPR (yes I live in Fortuna AND listen to NPR, when I’m not too busy strumming my banjo and crushing beer cans on my forehead) did an interesting piece on how the majority of Osama-related schadenfreude was demonstrated by college students–millenials–who were in junior high at the time of 911. In other words, the age of your average HSU student, most of whom live in ARCATA. Just sayin’ 🙂

  4. I was referring to a call that police received, but your point is duly noted: There were probably more instances of college kids with their heads in toilets after celebrating excessively than there were 2nd amendment defenders firing weapons into the air.
