Wiggins Stripped of Committees: In other news, the Sacramento Bee reports that Senate President Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg has stripped Sen. Pat Wiggins of her committee assignments, including her chairmanship of the Local Government committee. Wiggins, whose longstanding health problems have been widely reported and widely denied, will not seek reelection this year.
