The 7th annual Redwood Pride Summer Festival got underway Saturday morning under foggy skies with the Pride Parade marching from the Adorni Center through Old Town Eureka. The Progress Pride Flag a now a popular symbol for the queer and trans community at many Pride events. -
An estimated 150 Pride Parade participants marched from the Adornia Center through Old Town Eureka, with several carrying Progress Pride flags. -
A few Pride Parade signs included current world-news events in their messages. -
Theresa Jennett wore her brightly colored tie-dye t-shirt and peace glasses in the Pride Parade. -
Sister Juana Little from Eureka’s chapter of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and Abbey of the Big Red Wood joined Avril Frasche and Emiy Siegel for a photo op before the Pride Parade began. -

It was the Society’s first booth at the Day Festival while promoting the November Mushroom Fair and as a shared fundraising project with Redwood Pride. -
