Libation — the Arcata Plaza purveyor of wine and beer — got dinged with a suspension by Alcoholic Beverage Control for an Oyster Fest violation, according to a sign on the shop’s door. The suspension, which forced the shop to close, began on Sept. 19 and will continue through Oct. 3.

According to a homemade sign on Libation’s door, the business was admonished for allowing customers to drink wine outside of the store’s bar area.
