North Coast Open Studios, a DreamMaker project of the Ink People, is an annual showcase of local artists and their art in Humboldt County who open their studios to the public, allowing art lovers a glimpse into the creative process.
North Coast Open Studios Art Night is Friday, June 5, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Weekend 1 is June 6-7 and Weekend 2 is June 13-14. Studios are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, unless otherwise noted. North Coast Open Studios is a free event, so there is no admission charged at any venue.
Visitors to North Coast Open Studios will have an opportunity to see what happens inside an artist’s creative space. Meet the artists and see work from a wide array of art styles, including jewelry, printmaking, puppetry, ceramics, photography, sculpture, glass, and more. During this free showcase for the arts, visit mid-career and emerging artists in traditional and non-traditional spaces. Talk to artists about their creative process, see their recent works and purchase art.
