With the dust still settling on an historic and stunning midterm election night on the national front, here’s a look at the local seats that were up for grabs on Nov. 3.
According to the final election night report released by the Humboldt County Elections Office, 21,509 votes were counted as of just after midnight, representing about 25 percent of registered voters.
According to a release from the office, results will be updated twice weekly starting Thursday, after which the still unofficial numbers will be sent out “every Wednesday and Friday by 5 p.m. until the election is certified on Thursday, Dec. 3.”
