Youth Aquatic Adventure Camp. 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Humboldt Bay Aquatic Center, 921 Waterfront Drive, Eureka. A week-long day camp introducing campers to a variety of aquatic activities while building confidence, teamwork and water-safety skills. June 22-Aug. 7, Monday-Friday. Campers spend their days active and engaged through hands-on instruction, group games, and guided exploration on Humboldt Bay and surrounding areas. Activities may include kayaking, canoeing, surfing, paddleboarding, beach ecology and shoreline exploration. Youth Sailing Camp. 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Humboldt Bay Aquatic Center, 921 Waterfront Drive, Eureka. Youth Sailing Camp is a hands-on introduction to small-boat sailing and seamanship designed for beginner sailors. Campers learn by doing—spending their time actively sailing, practicing skills, and working together on the water rather than sitting in a classroom. Instruction is age-appropriate and paced for beginners, with campers rotating through helmsman and crew roles to build confidence, teamwork, and communication skills.
