An eclectic mix of eager parade participants gathered in the Creamery District before walking to the plaza and then made three loops around the square. -
Calypso the Dragon made an appearance, thanks to James Hildebrandt and friends from the Arcata Playhouse. -
Pilot June Moxon and friends brought out The Party Pump Kinetic sculpture. -
Shea FreeLove and a few of the Circus of the Elements brought their usual energy and style to the parade. -
Members of Bandemondium provided the sound track as the parade looped around the plaza. -
Shoshanna and other friends danced their way through three loops around the plaza with high energy. -
Not every parade has a decorated ATV followed by two llamas. -
Another Kinetic vehicle piloted by Robert Thoman and powered by friends made some fancy maneuvers as it weaved its way around the plaza. -
Another solo dancer dressed in a vivid color made her way around the plaza. -
Jennifer Gonzales (left) brought an all-ages bubble-blowing, hand-waving team to walk in the parade. -
Jesse Jonathan organized a team of drummers to provide a rnythmic sound track to the parade. -
Maggie Lally rocked it on her drum with her usual flair. -
The Tempus Fugit Kinetic team brought out its Kinetic vehicle for the parade and one member in the back of the vehicle offered a near high five. -
A bubble-blowing “Pied Piper” attracted a crowd of youngsters on the plaza after the parade was over. -
Following the end of the parade, several persons walked around the Arcata plaza silently carrying signs with reminders of current events.
